Frequently Asked Questions
I. Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Travel expenses are an additional charge depending on the distance and venue. This additional charge will cover lodging, mileage/gas, or flight expenses depending on the event. This will be discussed during initial meeting to determine if this is needed for your event.
II. Do you require a deposit?
Yes. I require a deposit for every service I offer except head shots. Your deposit secures your booking and goes towards the total cost of the service you selected.
Deposits for micro sessions are $25 and are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Deposits for mini sessions are $40 and are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Deposits for portrait sessions are $200 and are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Deposits for events, and professional branding are $400 and are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Deposits for weddings & elopements are $600 and are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Terms of communications management or communications consultative services will be detailed in the contract following the initial consultation.
III. What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens and that is okay! If you need to reschedule your session or cancel, please provide me with a 72 hour notice (3 days).
For weddings and elopements, please provide me with a 120-hour notice (5 days) to reschedule or cancel.
Failure to provide appropriate notice may result in cancellation of services by photographer.
**I reserve the right to cancel a booking if requester is late 15 minutes or more without contacting me regarding changes to a session.
IV. How long does it take to receive the photos and how will those be delivered?
My turn-around time for delivering photos may range from 2 to 6 weeks to ensure that you are receiving a quality product. Photos are delivered electronically/digitally.
**I DO NOT provide the RAW images of my photos.
V. Are there any additional fees if we exceed our contracted time?
For every hour past the contracted time, you may be charged an additional $50-$100 depending on the session booked.
VI. Can I pay in installments?
If you are unable to pay in full upfront, an installment plan can be set up. However, photos will not be delivered until full payment is received.
VII. Do you retouch and photoshop photos?
Any blemishes that will go away in a few weeks, will be removed. However, if the number of photos requires excessive retouching, I will charge for this. You may choose 4 complimentary photos to be retouched with this rule, any additional will result in a $5 per photo fee. I do not retouch or photoshop for weight.
VIII. Do you have a re-edit policy?
Each gallery is delivered with professionally edited, high-resolution images that reflect my artistic style and standards. If you would like additional edits after the final gallery is delivered, a $10 fee per image will apply.
Please note: All re-edit requests are subject to the photographer’s discretion and must be submitted within 5 days of gallery delivery.
